I have this sweet L4D2 promo t-shirt I got at the Eurogamer Expo a couple of years ago, and needless to say, I think it is an awesome t-shirt.

I'm wondering, do OCUK users wear video game t-shirts out in public? What are your opinions on doing this?

Personally, I have worn it in public and think it's smashing.

I wouldn't even realise that was t-shirt related to a video game. So I think your safe, the general public would just see that as a graphic t-shirt and nothing more.

I do, but only if they're suitably clever or subtle.

I have one with the Zelda triforce on it. It just looks like a cool logo, unless you're a fan. I have a "Mario Bros. Plumbing Services" one which is pretty cool. I've got a Pacman one too. It's just a big picture of Pacman eating a couple of dots. I guess that's identifiable enough to just look like a scenester trendy type thing, so I reckon I can pull that off. I want to get something Half Life-y... Like something with the BMRF logo on it.

Bear in mind, though, that I don't give half a crap what people think I look like, and if I like something I'll probably wear it. Your mileage may vary, depending on how self conscious you are and how many jerks you hang around with.

You are over caring, only gamers will get that reference and you might meet some other gamers. If it was call of duty, then it would be a no no as everyone and their gamer has heard of it but l4d is a pretty niche game.
That's actually if you care about your street cred, I assume you do if you are posting this thread :P.

I haven't got any gaming T-shirts but I would wear ones that I liked without a doubt. I wear what I like not what will please other people tbh.

Also most people probably would even know its a gaming shirt if it didn't have the name on it anyway. Like the portal ones with just the portal logo on for instance.

I have loads of gaming t shirts from my time working at game. Rest assured, I never wear them in public, but mostly at home and to sleep in, and not when the gf was around.

When I was 13 I wore a t shirt for a computer game, half life I think, 2 people asked me where I got it in the local mall, it owned.

I used to be such a god damn nerd.

I still am.
