Wedding in May.. need a suit

Not mine thankfully but as the suits I currently own are well out of date and probably don't fit anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to get something proper tailored up..
My last suit came from the "two suits for a ton" type shop

Basically I'm looking for recommendations of where to start looking for something really smart.

What price should I be looking to pay for something decent these days?
thinking £500 should cover it but what do I know??

Looking for something fashionable really, although I don't use it that often I would like to buy, not rent.

Price limit depends on how good it looks..
Will spend more than £500 if it "looks worth it" (read that as, if fits like a suit does on Tom Jones, then I'll be happy. )
