is this game mainly based around the coop play, or is there a decent single player game here?

It's all around coop play. Singleplayer would be pretty boring![]()

Yeah...from all accounts the new balance "fixes" are somewhat rubbish :/
Tbh...not sure why they didn't just make the xbow lower damage rather than heavier. Odd.
yeah, they could really concerntrate making the weapons a lot better, like different upgrades for certain weapons, for what perk you are.
they seem just to make more levels, what about more zombie types.

I've not used the SCAR but i've seen 1 mention saying its been chainsawed, though that may be an overreaction. They didn't make the Xbow heavier, just the M14 and i don't even know what that was supposed to do. They did make it more expensive but that didn't make a difference in the slightest... except for allowing the SS to sell it for 600 after spawning instead of 300, a significant boost.

Have you even played the game? The weapons don't need upgrades and perks get significantly better stats for there weapons as it is. They are already horribly unbalanced, adding more would only make it worse, as the Mac10 seems to prove. And what new specimens? What the hell does the game need? The Husk filled a gap that was easy to abuse, there is no need to randomly add more.
Coop really. It has singleplayer but thats just the coop on your own pretty much.
Ah yeah.. read a bit more about it after my post. Quite comical really. They've clearly just rushed this out so they can claim to be supporting the community. You'd think just a minute of thought would be enough to realised that was a bad idea though.
yeah iv'e been playing this game for over a year, they have added one zombie a Husk, each to there own opinions.

It helps if you give a real reason why the game could use more specimens other than 'it would be cool'.
And no they are not zombies, not even close.

I have to say, i've only played it for a few hours but you can already tell the enemies aren't that diverse.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think you'd get bored of the awesome way the subjects heads explode when you blast them, but still![]()
I think the first thing you need to do is relax. All of your posts in this thread (other than your first) have made you come across as a complete tool. I havent even played the damn game but even I can decipher why more enemy types is a bonus to a game. Leave people to their own opinions.
/rant over.

Sure most of them are melee attackers but you may aswell try saying the Special Infected from L4D aren't diverse... slow tanks puking acid, dashing attackers, slow grabbing cannon fodder, ankle biters, stealth attacks, PBAoE, ranged AoE... etcSo try putting your money where your mouth is since you seem to have such a big one. Come on, ideas please? Something that fills a gap in the specimens assault. Oh and something that TWI devs can do in there spare time since they aren't planning to do anything as big as putting a new specimen in anymore.
. From the very little I have seen and heard of this game the enemies are pretty much melee attackers. Why not include a specimen which slows the player down? In a similar fasion to a choker on L4D. Not completly leaving the player incapacitated, but slowing them which would increase the suspense and tension of the game. Touched a nerve I think. Or an enemy which if it comes into contact with a player blinds them temporarily for a period of time say 5 or 10 seconds.
Flying enemies ? Maybe similar to the crawler in one sense but it would drastically change the dynamics of the game.
Maybe even a specimen that cloaks itself to look like a friendly ally giving it the oppurtunity to get up close and personal to the players.
payday is thursday. My point simply is that a game like L4D or KF would never suffer from new enemies been added.
