Looking forward to the derby between Everton and Liverpool. Should be a good match if Everton continue playing well.

Im leaving for the derby in about 45 mins. I hate, no, despise early kick offs. The police can no longer cite safety reasons- the derby over Christmas time was an 8pm kick off. Sky TV have a lot to answer for.

Whoever scores the first goal will win the match today. It will be a frantic opening 20 mins but I think our (Liverpool's) midfield will be far too strong for Everton's. I also anticipate Mr Cisse running Weir and Stubbs ragged again at some point with his pace. I predict a 2-0 to Liverpool.

Dissagree.

Liverpool will not break a sweat and win it 3-0.

Gerrard sent off! Two yellow cards

Not a good start for everton though, were giving away so many free kicks.

Crazy stuff from Gerrard. Was his 1st yellow for mouthing off at the ref? The 2nd yellow could well have been a straight red anyway. Madness!

Harsh that i thought, cahill got away with a few prior to getting booked, i think the ref is having a mare so far.

1st was for kicking the ball away

Why was it harsh? Cahill's tackles were nowhere near as bad as Gerrard's 2nd yellow.

Alonso will be next off imo. :p

edit//

Thanks for confirming Gerrards 2nd. I've got commentary turned to mute here!

 You mean you don't want to hear Brian Marwood's great voice, or Alan Parry? ;)

I felt the 2nd Gerrard yellow could have been a red, wreckless both feet off the ground.
