I started the weekends activity's early Saturday morning by meeting my mate down the yard. A chap we know had put 75 litres of Petrol in his Derv van so i got on with draining it & my other mate got on with sorting it out.
An hour later i had 75 litres of Free fuel & the van was sorted
I have so much fuel i cannot go around left hand bends without spilling some, I also have a 5 gallon army type jerry can full, a petrol can full & a 5 gallon drum plugged up :D
Yesterday i stank of petrol & thought maybe i should go out on the pull as i smelt of money :p
Then i got on with draining my fluids from both diffs & topped them up with Fresh, I blew out my air filter & top up the engine oil/tyres/water bottle etc.
I am now ready for a full on mission down South on a daughter visit some time through the week.
This morning I've been out & sprayed my roof with Primer, It's now raining so i am spamming until i can get a top coat on.
What you lot up to then ?

Scowling at the write-off on the drive and recommissioning a 306 DTurbo for Kate to use as a runaround for now.

Spend all weekend sorting out my new workshop. By new, I mean new to me - it's about 30 years old. Asbestos roof. Nice.

That looked nasty :( was thinking about 200SX's today, then thought I knew Kate had one so I slowed down around there to see if it was there, pretty nasty state thats in :( Was a  moment seeing it :(

Nothing car related...well not my own car related...want a car. :(

Checked tyre pressures, oil level, etc. on the girlfriend's Rover...as she never does it.

Yeah it ain't fab.

It's getting collected by the insurer tomorrow.

Car related,

Fitted my new plate, ordered a new fuel card to reflect the change, gave it a big valet :)

We have to let them do a proper assessment on it first and they want it in the air as one front wheel has moved, which is fair enough, so they are coming to fetch it.

If it's economically viable to buy back and repair I expect one of us will go for it.

Collected my new short engine yesterday. My project thread will be updated accordingly later ;)

I've just had a call. It's going in half an hour. It's at times like this I hate being a girl... got to try and not cry before the driver gets here or I'll look a right pleb :(

Took lots of photos of the state she's in, including the clean back end.

I REALLY miss driving it :(
