I wasn't sure if this is the best place for it, but its video rendering so...
I screen record via fraps, and then render after pretending to do something artistic to the video in Vegas 9. In the media explorer whenever I click a video, Vegas hangs for a good 5-10 seconds. Now I'm presuming that its caching the video or something like that, but it never used to do it, only since I reinstalled Vegas recently (for Skyrim videos!).
Its run on an SSD with 12GB of ddr3 memory, on an i5 clocked to 4.0GhZ. I have run the >2GB executable patch to address another bug but its still slow as hell loading videos. Anything I can do?
