I have AAKS drive in my Raid5 array and I want a spare, I notice the AVDS drive is about 20 quid cheaper, there is also a AAKB drive, what is the difference between them?

WD drives are notoriously difficult to identify from the 4 letter code, they have a habit of updating the drive but keeping the same code....

AAKS tend to be 16Mb cache Caviar Blues
AVDS might be a GP-AV drive, so a 5400rpm designed for set top boxes etc
AAKB is a PATA Caviar Blue
