Also posted on PH but want as many answers as possible :)

The likely-hood of next Saturday at Mallory being rainy I thought I would ask about some tips for wet track riding.
The bike is a 1994 Honda cbr600f (fn?), which is fully track converted and used to be a race bike, when I purchased it last year it came with loads of spare parts and a spare set of wheels with wets on.
Apart from swapping the wheels over what else will need to be done?
Any tips for wet track days? Considering ive paid for it I want to get as many sessions out as possible, providing it isn't ****ing it down.

Cheers chaps!

That's basically it, chuck on the wets and have a good time :)

Proper racing wets, in good condition at least, have frankly stunning levels of grip, obviously avoid kerbs and white lines as much as possible but you can still get plenty of lean angle.

Obviously check the tyre pressures, that's kinda a mix of personal preference/manuf reccomended but I generally go 1 or 2 psi lower on the wets compared to dry tyres.

Proper wets are a revelation is you've never used them before. They have frankly stunning levels of grip, just ride smoothly and stay off the kerbs and white lines.
