I have a had a Franke stainless sink and some of their taps for several years and they have been fine,
clean up well and resilient to scratches,
I was thus recommending them to a relation, which we checked out in B&Q at the weekend.
specifically one of these Franke Ascona ASX 651 1.5 Kitchen Sink with Reversible Bowl, Silk Steel
we have one, and the welds where the sink bowls fit into the top are 'invisible' to my eyes - below,
but, with the new examples in B&Q much less so. did their quality go downhill. ?
on the newer one the join is not invisible and would attract dirt.
They do them in, so called silk steel and 'regular' polished stainless steel, I'm not sure which ours is, and whether the finish could be different bewteen the two.
I may try an email/call them, to ask, but doubt I'll get satisfaction.
