Hi there I'm looking to buy a good pair of floor standers. Any ideas? My budget is around 150 pounds I can shop used. Also I would need a receiver with good amp to power them, 100 pounds budget?

I found these Wharfedale Rubiance RB-25 but can't find any reviews on it?

EDIT
I also found these speakers locally. Any ideas?
Cambridge Audio S70 Floor Standing Speakers (£110)

Cambridge Audio S20 Book Shelf Speakers (£60)

Cambridge Audio S50 Centre Speaker (£50)

Cambridge Audio S80 Subwoofer (£50)

Yamaha RXV367 AV Receiver (£70)

Best to buy used because £150 is a very low amount of money for new floor standing speakers. Same applies to the amp, whether it's stereo or an AV receiver. £100 only buys a CA Topaz AM1. An OK budget amp, but not much power. £100 used should get you something much better.

Not heard of the Rubiance range. Any posts I can see on others forums where someone asks about them, they get no reply. That range must be at least 11 years ago, because I see posts from 2006 asking about them. Possibly they are part of a home cinema range, similar to Vardus. Wharfedale's home cinema speaker ranges tend not to get the same coverage that their Diamond range do.

I would definitely consider their Diamond range over their cheaper offerings. KEF, Mission, Tannoy, Monitor Audio; you might find some good older speakers. Q Acoustics are also good, but being a much newer brand, not sure you'll find used 2050i for £150.

Not sure about Cambridge Audio speakers. Their reputation is for making amplifiers, not speakers. Whether they are worth considering for £110, I don't know TBH. Not enough reviews, users ones on RS aside.

Cambridge audio speakers aren't bad although not as good as wharfedale diamond 9.1 for example.

I think you won't be disappointed with that bundle
