What 15" Tyres?

So the Mrs desperately needs new tyres...the tread on them is appalling. She has an '08 Fiat Grande Punto. Size on the sidewall says 175 65R 15 84T. Can I deviate from this at all?

Recommendations chaps? I would get some more Rainsport 2's, as they have been brilliant on my FR, but I'm not sure they come in a suitable size? http://www.uniroyal-tyres.com/gener...2_summertyre/01_rainsport2/rainsport2_en.html

She will be selling the car ce the summer, so I guess I'm looking for some summer tyres which won't kill her in the current winter conditions. Although to be honest, with the current near-zero tread she is on, I doubt anything could be worse!

Can I deviate on size, or does it have to be the above?

As much as I would love her to put winter tyres on, it's just not worth it given the sale in June/July. The KH31's do sound good. Where is cheapest? Camskill certainly dony seem to have any. Just out of morbid curiosity now, can we deviate on the size of the above?

Why would the insurer need to know?! If the tyres fit onto the wheels, what is their concern?
