¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like soundsystems, and I get almost as much enjoyment building and testing them as I do listening to them. :) Now I know they can be a little large and cumbersome, but I'm thinking about building a 2Kwatt sound system... nothing crazy, but it should be loud to say the least (will be using efficient drivers and efficient box design), at least in smaller rooms.

Now, apart from use at home and friends parties, I could also rent it out to local music promoters... There are quite a lot of nights on in Bristol, so I'm sure it would be a good way to make a bit of extra cash...

Now, are there any other advantages to having your own PA rig? Right now, I'm trying to convince my self it will be worth the time, money and effort building the rig...
