What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

Started playing Hollow Knight again. Can't believe it's 7 years since I last played it, according to Steam.
Having a similar experience replaying the Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy at the moment. According to Steam it's 12 years since I played the first game and almost 9 years since Rise. There are a ton of games from around 2007 to 2019 that still stand up very well today ; actually put many modern AAA games to shame.

I gave two point museum a try recently but I just don't think I can get on with it, it feels like a mobile game, maybe it's the UI. I've never played a two point game before so I didn't know what to expect

I gave the PGA 2k25 demo a try and I think that might be the next purchase

I've fallen back into WoW again... Started actually pushing some content for the first time since Cataclysm over the last year.

The dopamine is real.

Space Marine 2!!!, the odd Darktide and Rogue Trader too. on a 40k binge atm. book 30 of the HH series when i get a chance and a calm moment too.
Excellent! I finally finished the series last year after starting it when it began in 2006. There are some very good novels to go from 30, though some filler too (I got tired of a lot of the shattered legion stories).

I'm a few hours into Yakuza Zero. I came into the series with Like a Dragon and have since played Infinite Wealth and Pirate Yakuza. Zero is... interesting.

I'm not a fan of the combat, which feels stiff and clunky. The visuals are a weird mix of "actually, that looks ok in 4k" and "menus stuck in the PS2 era". The atmosphere is excellent, capturing the whole "bubble economy" thing really well. And the story's decent so far (I'm a couple of hours into the first Majima section).

Started replaying enter the gungeon since it was in the last steam sale for under £2. Ridiculously fun game, and so many secrets to uncover.

I’ve not hit any sort of fatigue yet, even the weaker books I’ve enjoyed so far. I only started a couple of years ago though so have been playing massive catch up. I have an ebook reader with only HH books on there.

Haven’t played the game itself since ed3, the lore though. Space opera doesn’t allow enough scope to encompass it. It’s so fleshed out and grim. I love it.

I wish the campaign in sm2 was longer. It was sublime.

Been playing through the Dark Anthology games, onto the fourth one (last for now) bit hit or miss with which are good or not, so far House of Ashes has been my favourite but Devil in Me is shaping up to be good too.

Pretty similar here, I've only ever played a handful of games and haven't built or painted my own army, but I've been a huge fan of the lore (and previously the old world universe) ever since I was bought a White Dwarf magazine back in the early 90's as lad.

SM2 was excellent, but it still wasn't quite the killer, 10/10 shooter set in the universe that I've been waiting for.

Finding my gaming sessions to be few and far between at the moment, so am playing House Flipper 2 for some easy-going gaming.
