What are the best drivers for the asus 8800gts card?

Hey all - im new to nvivida and just wanted to know what the best dirver is for this card

im on vista 64


do you uninstall the previous drivers (as u do with ati) or can u just click on the new driver exe and it will do it for you?




i dont really play games but wouldnt mind a performance boast in general image quality , HD playback if that is possible

(i do have crysis and rainbow six and gears of war but i dont really play them that much )

Im using the 174.85 betas at the moment, everything works, and I got a little gain in Crysis.

I always remove the old drivers first, just through habit.

Yeah if you try to install a newer set while you still have some older ones on, then the older ones will be removed first automatically, then the new set will be installed.

Yeah if you try to install a newer set while you still have some older ones on (just by double-clicking the .exe of the new set), then the older ones will be removed first automatically, before it then installs the newer set.
