Just having a look about in the phone shops today and it got me wondering what is the coolest smart t there (and upcoming phones).

Im currently using a N95 at the moment which is serving me quite well, but I will be due for a upgrade in a few months, so im trying to see what can take it's replacement.

I have never had a windows based smart phone, although they do look cool some of them so if anyone can shed some light on whats good let me know as im new to them.

Again the iphone looks nice, but I think I would get bored of it quite quickly, but you never know . . .

Looking forward to peoples recommendations!

:)

There's a bit of a lull at the moment. You've already got the N95 and the other phones better are the N95 8GB and N82 - both very similar.

I would expect the most exciting new phones will be announced at 3GSM. It's the biggest mobile phone exhibition in the world and it's running from 11th - 14th February in Barcelona. Two weeks to go!

HTC Dual Touch
Not only is it the HTC Touch Dual, but the Touch Cruise is superior :).

Anyways.. you probably can't be what you got at the mo so check news on the exhibition mentioned above and hopefully by the time your contract ends you'll be able to get something real good thats prob not even announced yet..

For those suggesting or looking at HTC devices make sure you read: http://htcclassaction.org/

There's serious performance issues with these phone so make sure yo know what you getting yourself into (I've got a HTC Kaiser and its slow and laggy).

Personally I find these HTC windows mobiles horrid. It's trying to be a portable computer and phone and fails on both.

No they don't, they excel, brilliantly.

I wouldn't be without my TyTN for love nor money, it has proven to be incredibly useful, both in and out of the office.

Having had 3 generations of HTC device now, I can only see things getting better.

That "class action" site is just so laughable its untrue.

I agree, but maybe not to such an extent, it feels like MS made a decent (but still fairly unstable comparitively) PDA, and ad-hoc added a phone application (which is built upon an unstable base IMO). I find it still falls over more than symbian phones which are the opposite. They were designed as phones, but with applications in mind...

I've used both flavours, and tried my best to love the HTC Universal (which was VGA and a powehouse) but compared to my business symbian smart-phones they just can't compete for me...
