What are the disavantages of running a case with the side off?

i have a window, but it looks nicer with the side off

will keep the side on though...

i leave both sides off, but need to so i can run my sata hdds and test things out time to time...

not the best way really !

dust gets inside quite badly.... so be prepared to clean up

Definately this. My last two builds have ended up with the sides permanently off, and the temptation to poke things to see how hot they are is irresistable.

Well i dont have pets, and if i had kids at my age, i must have gone horribly wrong somewhere.
