Got one of those Chickens stuffed inside a Pheasant, stuffed inside a Goose. (roughly that order anyway!)

Had one last year and it was awesome. Much better than dry and tasteless turkey....

Having 2 Christmases this year :/ My 2 step sons will be away for Christmas so It will be just 3 of us having a beef joint I think.

When they come home we will be having a more traditional turkey type dinner.....so I'm told

Christmas Eve - Pre Christmas snacks etc etc
Christmas Day - We'll be having roast chicken with all the veggies, roast spuds etc etc (Turkey is just so DRY!!)
Boxing Day - Roast Turkey with the other side of the family!

It's more traditional than Dickens' best pare of socks filled with tangerines and a playmobil policeman

I'll be eating a fresh Free Range Norfolk Black Turkey (arrives Christmas Eve) and the usual trimmings, everything including stuffings, pickles, preserves, Christmas pud and cake are all home made. The sprouts are coming off the allotment, the potatoes were a specially sowed batch of lates which I dug up this weekend. Mmmmmmmmmm I'm bloody starving now thinking of it!

We have 12 people attending for xmas lunch so i can imagine its not gonna be the most relaxing of days. :eek:

If you did it right you brought the wrong one.

It shouldn't be dry.
