What batteries, genuine or not?

Hi guys, I can't decide what batteries to buy for D70.
3d party batteries are very cheap. Original Nikon cost 30 quid and up. Is it worth it?

bought a 3rd party battery for my D80 from everyones favorite online auction site. AN EN-EL3E for £12.50. Higher mAh rating than a Nikon battery as well.
Had no problems at all with it.

Although I seem to be in the minority, with my old d70 I got about 500+ shots with the official batteries and about 250-300 with the unofficial ones. The unofficial ones were higher rated than the official ones too.

I got some cheap ones as spares, if they only last half as long it's better than nothing at all.

Went for original Nikon EN-EL3a, only £25.
