K, so all my parts are laying on the floor ready to assemble, but no mobo :D
I wanna track down the boards that r gonna come out, but dunno which ones already made some noise in the press.
So far I have only seen Asus P5N32-SLI that's about to debut.
What other ones are already made but not on the market yet ?

What about Intel's own! seemed to get good press.

It can be fussy and it's not really an amazing clocker compared to some other boards.

The abit boards are coming soon, but don't expect much - that way if they're The Best Thing Ever™ then it will be really good. If they're rubbish then it won't be much of a dissapointment.

DFI's LanParty 975x should be coming some time in September, but I don't know anything about it.

A few boards with the ATI chipset will also come, but don't expect great support now that AMD own them.

I've got about 2/3 months to wait for some nice shiny new boards to come out as well so I'll be interested to see what appears too :)

No LANParty 975X :(

There will only be LANParty boards based on P965 and ATi RD600...

wort waiting for these new mobos for conroe system ?

and how long is the wait 'expected' to be

I think its worth the wait, current boards do work well but have limitations due to design, bios, compatability and so on.

Hi,
One that cought my eye was the P5W64 Ws Pro.
I like the idea that it might be possible for a crossfire setup as well as a PCIE Physics card, Similar to a feature of RD600 possibly.

It looks like space may be tight accross the available PCIE slots with dual slot GPU's.

Still it's a sweet looking board, i bet it's pricey, maybee a bit overkill for some desktops too.

hmm interesting so september seems to be the month then. will be interesting to see the support for the ATi chipset and how it compares. also x1950 XTs ooooooo /rubs hands

[edit]

that abit one looks quite sweet, wonder what the performance is like against the rest and how they compare to current ones. any release dates?
