what bug is it?

Carpet beetle larvae have sharp little hairs that cause a reaction in some people that looks very much like bed bug bites.

Steam clean your carpets, moth balls in cupboards, & hoover your mattress, or if it's a few years old then get a new mattress.

I've had them in drawers of clothes before, get your windows open.

Replaced the carpet in my bedroom with laminate.

Found these too in my bed before, hence a new bed. It was carpet beetle for sure. You might find some little black bugs around, what you found is the larva form.

Ended up getting a new bed as found some in the inside lining, also dusted the room with some chemical.
