No it's not. Otherwise so is the GTX400 series, and the rest of the HD5000 series. They're still very capable cards!

Isn't the HD5970 still the fastest single card on the market? And it'll still be the third in a couple of months.

shame, oh well they still perform really well for the price, 2 of them in SLI for £398 would out do a any single gpu card out at the mo!

Try doing a Google shopping search for them. They are still out there, but horrifically overpriced.

Why are people still recomending old tech? ie the 4xx series.... yes they are good value but only as they have been surpassed. Kid yourself all you want.
