What cars do your parents have?

VW Touran
1938 Morris 8 tourer
1960 odd 4 wheeled BMW Isetta 300 bubble car
Mobylette scooter and 1970 Puch Scooter

Non runners include
Morris Cowley bullnose
Isetta 300 3 wheeler
Heinkel bubble car

A 1969 MGB Roadster and a 1970 MK2 Cortina 1600E live alongside the two Focuses in the house. I'll be insured on the MGB when I turn 25 in June, can't wait. Especially seeing as my Dad completed the rebuild just as I was born and it's been a part of my life for as long as I can remember so the first drive will be a special one.

Mum: Brand new Captiva (I nearly had an hernia when I found out she bought it brand new)
Dad: Citreon C15 Van, '02 Ford Focus 1.8, 1991 Range Rover Classic 'Vogue' which has recently just had an engine rebuild and upped to 5L via a stroker kit and finally his toy is a 1967 Ford Mercury Cougar 'Danguerny Special' with a 289CI V8 which sounds amazing :D

Can't wait till he snuffs it, I'm getting the Cougar! :D

My mum drives a Corolla T Sport. Step dad drives a BMW 320i.
My dad passed away last year but had an amazing car history including (all from new) Ur Quattro, Porsche 930 Turbo, Porsche 944 Turbo SE, BMW E34 M5 and quite a few others. His last car was an E46 M3, which was one of his favourite cars.

Nothing interesting for mine. My dad used to have an 08 plate Ka which made some sense as he literally drives it to and from the train station due to working in London. Kinda sensible, until he got a brand new 11 plate one last year. My mum's got an 11 plate Audi A1 TFSI S Line (also bought from new at some outrageous price) which I also think is somewhat pointless since the furthest it ever seems to go is Southampton or Staines, both of which are 35ish miles away. Ah well, their money ;)

Dad has:
'03 Skoda Fabia vRS
'09 Alfa Romeo MiTo Lusso
'02 Renault Scenic DCI Priveledge

Mum:
'09 VW Golf 2.0 TDI SE

My mum is currently looking at Golf GTDs. Don't know why really, she likes Golfs though and has owned a few, and there are much worse cars she could be looking at buying :p

2003 1.4 Astra LS, which mum has owned for 9 years :p
56 plate 2.0TDI SE A3

so not too interesting, but what do you expect? not everybody has money and my parents are young ;)

My interest in cars come from my granddad, he's always owned a new'ish Jaaaaaag Sovereighn and has a good knowledge of all things mechanical :)

Mum: Nissan Almera 1.5
Dad's had a large history of cars... 12 BMW's, ranging from M535i's to Alpina B10's but has now decided he has better things to spend money on so has settled with a 520i (2.2l) tourer in full m-tech kit, though he does want another 150 brake from it.

Dad - Kia Soul 1.6CRDi
Mum - Fiat 500 1.2 Pop

The first car I remember my parents having was a Mk 4 or 5 Cortina. It was a dealer special that'd had everything thrown at it. I loved that car. It was nicked and stripped for the bits :( After that it was a Datsun Bluebird, a Montego (a GSi! By the time they got rid it was burning more oil than petrol), a Volvo 240 Torslanda tank (still see it around Burton towing a burger van), a Fiat Stilo 1.2 (much better cars than anyone gives them credit for, that thing cornered like it was on rails) and a Fiat Panda 1.3 diesel (great little car).
