Are you saying lol because you think everyone will learn to ride a geared bike first time and having no gear indicator will make any difference?

Gear indicators are just a nice to have (although perhaps more of an expected feature for new bikes) especially if you have a tach. If the bike is sluggish change down, if the engine sounds really loud and high pitched change up.

CBF125, Honda Hornet 600, Speed Triple 1050cc :)

Next up would be something like the Super Duke R or Tuono something-or-other naked thing. Also wouldn't mind the Husqvarna 701 for a bit of fun, but it's expensive for what it is.

I used to razz about on a farm road on a 50cc moped a while back if that counts, must be a good 11-12 years ago now :eek:

Yep :D What is the street triple, 110bhp? Logical next step is something around 130-150bhp, naked 1000-1200cc v-twin or 1000cc IL4.

I think the 675r is 105/107 and the 675 is 98, something around 150 would be ideal yeah, i can't see myself getting bored anytime soon with 98bhp though, maybe in 2 years time. :p

Yeah I don't have that issue with my 400cc, 50bhp :D Look down at 12k rpm... "Hmm, 50mph"

I've gone about it a weird way, most go 125 -> 600 -> 1000, I'll be going 125 -> 400 -> 1000 :D
