What Cooling Solution for X1800XT (PE)

Hey guys got a bit of spare cash this weekend, so what would you recommend as the best cooling solution for my Sapphire x1800xt 512MB (modded to PE)?

Basically the temps are 58 idle and 72-75 load and I want to egt these down to prolong the life of the card, what can you recommend? if anyone has changed it also how easy will it be?


p.s anyone like my new sig I just done :P
 
I have fitted an Arctic Cooler Accelero X2 to my X1800XT and as well as being a lot quieter, it has got my temps down by about 8c to 44c when Idle at stock speed and about 60 - 61c under load.

When pumping 1.525 vcore through it and overclocking it to 700/850, it ran at about 81c and the beauty is it was no louder than when idle. I hasten to add, I don't run at that vcore for normal use.
 
It's easy to do, there are 8 screws in all if you look. Installed a waterblock on a friend's one, was very straighforward. I would personally wait for the Zalman VF900 (or something like that) which is supposed to be coming out soon. The AC Accelero is good-ish but I think AC shot themselves in the foot by removing the exhaust. Though, running the Accelero on 100% is about the same as the Stock cooler on 30% so people often advise to leave it at 100% and it is obviously slightly better than the stock cooler.

About your sig - looks good BUT - Don't you mean A64 X2 3800+ (dual score) instead of XP?

Thanks smids, just meant plain 64bit 3800 :P

changed now!

I was looking at the Fatality one but maybe its worth holdin out a bit then
