That was the case for most bikes of that era. I remember the front brake on my 350LC fading to the point that the lever would come back to the bar after a few corners.
Decent brakes didn't arrive until the 90s.

Bought a new exhaust for my rather quiet VFR. I want to hear that V4!

I love that I've installed power in my garage!

I spent some time this evening:
  • Installing my GPS mount
  • Dismantling the fairing to retrieve a dropped plastic bolt cover from the GPS mount
  • Wiring in the GPS
  • Removing pillion pegs and installing blanking plates
  • Re-drilling all my tank bags to give enough space for the new GPS mount
  • Dancing to Taylor Swift in view of my neighbour
  • Cursing at the paint chip on my rim
I don't know what it is but working on the bike is very therapeutic. I had to stop to feed the sprog or I'd have installed the crash protection too.

Cleaned them both :)

Had to refit the carb to filter boot on the 125 as there was a small area that might have been leaking air in.

Fitted new rear brake cable on the Z50a, ready for the MOT on Sat.
