What Did You Get In Your GCSE's?

10A*s and 3As

Worst part is that I got A grades in the subjects that I worked hardest for :(

I got A* in both Physics papers but got a B in coursework, so I got an A overall :o

Now doing A levels. I'm working MUCH harder than I've ever done before.

A*,A*,A,A,A,A,B,B,B,C

Except one of the A*s doesn't count because it was in art!

The other was in Design and Technology which is slightly more worthy, but not much. C was in economics as I missed 1 of the 3 exams.

4 A*, 4A, 3 B in 1998. Did no revision at all. Tried doing some geography revision one evening, but got bored and that was that.

I peaked at my A levels in 2001, the year before the move to the AS/A2 system. I got 5 As and a distinction in a special level physics paper. I revised a bit for those, mainly for further maths as I got Ds in two modules the first time round. Had to revise a bit for psychology too, as you have to remember the names and content of loads of studies.

2 x A*,
7 x A,
1 X B (Grr!)

Meant sod all by the time I'd done my A-levels.

A-levels:

3 x B
1 x C.

Meant sod all by the time I'd done my degree.

Degree:

2:1.

Now a teacher.

We did 11.5 GCSE's (got to love that half in Philosophy and Ethics!), and I got A-C in all of them.

Had I a) cared and b) not spent the half-term week before the exams at the pool all day I probably would have got As in the lot of them instead of only some of them!

I worked hard and got 11A*s. Did it affect what I'm doing now? Definitely. Good GCSEs mean you get to do the A levels you want, and good A levels get you into a good university. And decent GCSE grades look good on your university application and CV.

You say it like you MUST go to Uni to succeed in life!

1 x B (Maths)
4 x C (Business Studies, English Language and Double Science)
5 x D (RE, Geography, German, History and Technology) All of which I hated apart from German.

I got the three important ones. It got me into 6th Form which got me into Uni which in turn got me my job so I guess it has had an effect.

No he didn't ;)

Be quiet at the back :p

Struggle to remember what I took, let alone the grades. umm
English
Maths
Geography
Physics
Biology
Agricultural Science
Design and Technology
Economics
Got a feeling It was Chemistry I wanted to take as well, but that was "too many sciences" apparently... What was left... ART
Dropped out of that, flippin joke of a subject.
