Hi

I am looking for a new set of Digi phones for the house. I don't wanna spend shed loads. I have found these on a popular shopping outlet

Philips CD1304S Quad. Its 4 handsets - here is the blurb on the site :

# Silver/grey.
# Digital cordless (DECT).
# 30 name and number memories.
# Up to 150 hours standby time.
# Up to 12 hours talktime.
# Last number redial.
# 20 call log.
# Caller ID.
# Polyphonic ringtones.
# Ringer volume control on handset.
# Handsfree/speakerphone.
# Black and white display.
# Secrecy button. Clock.
# Alarm.
# Keypad lock.
# Requires 2 x AAA rechargeable batteries (supplied).
# Multiple handsets.

Only 65 quid for all of it. Anyone got these?

Anyone recomend a package of similar price? I need a minimum of 3 handsets idealy. 4 preferably. Decent volume in the earpiece as well. We have a Dual Handset BT set at the moment and the volume on them is awful - and the reception is equallty awful.

Thanks

generally you get what you pay for with these, dad bought some okish ones, not overpriced but higher end of the spectrum, work well, odd issue with range but thats always the case when you have an office separate from your house on the same property (youd think id still remember the brand but i honestly dont pay much attention, might be NTL sets....)

mum bought some cheap one...didnt last long before it broke
