Hi Guys

First time pc build for me and I honestly haven't got much of a clue.

I started this project a couple of years ago but it got shelved due to circumstances I won't bore you with. I started out high end, but now just want to get stuff up and running and maybe start another build once I have this one at least working. The case and power supply were bought a while ago and were part of my high end build, the other stuff is where I have got cheap lol. I'll list what I have so far and if you could tell me whats next that would be great. I'm not completely daft, so I know I need the obvious stuff like a keyboard, mouse and monitor lol.

So far I have:

CiT Vantage X-11 Gaming Case
Antec Power Supply (I'm at work and can't remember voltage etc)
AMD Phenom II X6 Processor (2.8ghz, 3.3ghz Turrbo Core)
Freezer Xtreme Rev2 Cooling system
Gigabyte GA-870a-USB3 Motherboard

Just let me know guys. And whatever it is I need to buy next, try and suggest something cheap but decent, I'm not exactly mr moneybags right now.

I don't really have a budget, but I don't want to spend a lot of money either. But I could buy a part each month for a while i guess. I could spare maybe £50-£80 per month on a part if that helps.

I'd quite like to be able to play some games, but I've never really played pc games before. I understand the bigger the game, graphics etc, the better your pc has to be, but I think the most I'd be fussed for playing would be football manager games. I play my xbox one for the rest really

Good PSU that is.

You need a HDD or SSD or both,

YOUR BASKET
1 x Crucial BX100 250GB SSD SATA 6Gbps 7mm Solid State Drive (CT250BX100SSD1) £71.99
1 x Toshiba (7K1000.D) 1TB SATA 6GB/s 32MB Cache - OEM (DT01ACA100) HDD £41.99
Total : £123.58 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).

SSDs are so much quicker than HDD you should get the first then add a HDD for additional storage later.

Then whatever GFX card you can afford, maybe 2nd hand as that way £70-80 will get you something strong such as a 280X.
