What do I need to cap 1/2" BSP Pipe?

I am in the process of demolishing our outside loo and need to cap the water supply under ground. I have phoned around and was 'reliably' assured that several places stocked a 1/2 end cap, but alas when I turned up to buy they didnt have any.
Am I even looking for the right thing?
I was planning to use a 1/2" coupler and 1/2 end cap.
Are there any alternatives to this?

youre needing a 15mm compression blank, or risk a pushfit at your peril.

I was just doing a bit more reading and did notice a few people mention using 15mm fittings by feathering the 1/2" pipe slightly.
