hi guys what should i use to tape the heat sensors on my fan control to my components. i have four sensors, they are made of like a thin yellow "filter plastic" material. i need to stick them on the hdd's, cpu and jus in the case, but dunno what to tape them with. oh and also the one for the cpu, should i just place it on the underside of the mobo. I also might add that i use Everst Home Edt so not a biggie if i cant use the sensors...jus would be nice. cheers guys :p

anything with thermal sensors usually comes with double sided tape - if yours didn't or it's been lost then try anything tape like and just make sure you clean up the area you're sticking it to

i'm sure I've used masking tape before though it's not the neatest job

You should be supplied with 4 little squares of orange sticky plastic (no not tape), which is meant for it. I guess this stuff has a high heat tolerance...I don't know, what I do know though is that if you place it slightly wrong and want to re-place it you'll need another piece as the sticky will be gone.

I'd like to say selotape, but it may have adverse effects inside a pc, same goes for electrical tape.

Use ShinEtsu Thermal Interface pads to stick the sensors to cpu, gpu ect.. just search your favourite Egay site ;)

Use an ALUMINISED HEAT REFLECTIVE TAPE to cover your sensors, only leave sensors exposed if you want surrounding components and air temp monitored.

I cant find this particular tape anywhere but the auto trade uses this stuff in engine compartments to protect sensitive wiring and components from.. you guessed it HEAT... just search your favourite Egay ;) site for ALUMINISED HEAT REFLECTIVE TAPE :)
