What do people use to play games on the PC??

What do you use to play games on the PC? I thought a gamepad would be ideal but find one difficult to use so have reverted back to using the mouse and keyboard. However, is this the best thing to use, I play mostly first shooter games, COD, FEAR, Quake4, etc.

Keyboard and mouse all the way mate, and I think everyone else will agree with me

Only games that controllers are better in are racing games

Yeah, KB and Mouse for FPS but in BF2142 I use a Logitech Rumblepad for flying. Also any driving or sim games on the Gamepad.

RPG: Mouse + KB
Sports: Gamepad
Racing: Steering wheel
Action: Mouse + KB
Strategy: Mouse + KB
Simulation: Mouse + KB

Mouse and KB for most stuff, an old MS optical tilt gamepad for motorcycle racing games and a CH Yoke and TM Cougar HOTAS with rudder pedals for flight sims is what I use.

Mouse and keyboard.... all be it a saitek gaming keyboard and Razer coperhead mouse.
had a pad but it just felt wrong.
oh! don't forget the joystick for flight sims.

I use a mouse and keyboard for everything. Anything I'd want to use a gamepad for, I tend to just buy the console version of the game instead.

Gamepads i find work a lot better with consoles, hence why im buying a 360 next week.

Joystick for flight games ( flight sims) or games that have planes in ( like battlefield... ( not to play bf by joystick at all time, just when you're in a plane) )
Gamepad for fighting games and Football games...
Steering wheel& pedals for racing games and sims...

For anything else: keyboards & mouse....
