I RMA'd my Connect3D 850XT PE 256mb card back over a month ago as the fan failed and screwed the card up......!!!

I went and got a X1900XT 512mb and Ultra-D motherboard as I knew it would take a while, I have now been told the replacement will be here within the next week or so, and it will be an AGP equivalent??

My question is what can I or should I expect performance wise as a good replacement for my faulty card?? Just incase I get summit that is way under

Cheers ;)

dont get too excited, depending on the damage they may just repair it and send it back ;)

but i hope you get something good :)

i too have my connect3d X1800XT 512mb crossfire master card in for RMA, and i know for a fact they wont have a replacement for it as X1800XT crossfire master cards are like chickens teeth...

id be happy if they do the following:

1) repair it
2) replace it with an X1900XT (wont be happy with an X1900GT.)
3) give me a full refund.

7 weeks is unacceptable, ive been waiting 9 and ive gone crazy

im in my 9th week waiting for a replacement. A while ago i emailed them asking if i can have an upgraded graphics card or a refund, they said no its up to XFX.

I go to phone them today ask the same question and they say they will look into it and get back to Me ASAp

BTW the card i sent back was a XFX nvidia 6800 PCI-E

what card do u think i will get back if i get an upgraded one?

Well, may as well add mine.

7 Weeks now today for a Powercolour 9800 Pro.

Think an upgrade will be on its way sometime soon (I Hope :p )

But one thing for certain is that if I dont hear anything by this time next week OcUK will be hearing from a not so friendly and understanding me.
