What do you do for dental care (NHS or Private)

It took me over 5 years to get a NHS Dentist after losing one so there's no way I'm not making appointments now.
£17.50 for checkup & polish and the last 5 times that's all I've needed.
The one downside is that she is a really ugly fat Polish woman with massive boobs (not the nice type) that I still can't understand what she says.

I had my checkup last week.

He said I am brushing to hard and my gums are receding around my lower front two teeth.

I paid £17.50 for a checkup and some cleaning. He even gave me some free Colgate sensitive toothpaste :).

All seems good. Took me one phonecall and I had an appointment!
This is the student union near me though so summer is probably a quieter time.

I use a private dentist, although I don't go that often. I went sixteen years without seeing one until my wife made me have a checkup last year. There was nothing needing to be done apart from a session with the hygienist so it seemed a bit of a waste of money. Reassuring though :)
