What do you make for your lunch at work?

I work from 0845 to 1700

At about 1000 I have two PB&J sandwiches and a banana.

For my main break at 1315 I usually have 2 hamwiches with hot sauce and a couple of chillis (Im addicted to chillis have em with anything haha) .

I used to chug Dr. Pepper like the world was gonna end but Ive given up on fizz drinks (now going on 4 months) and dont miss them a bit.

So I usually make boring sandwiches with different fillings...I like the PB&Js in the mornings - but for lunch I hate sandwiches...so boring. But they are the easiest to make and least messy although sometimes I take the odd soup. hardly take pasta or rice but reading this thread has made me want to now!

Have you asked her out yet?

Cheese n pickle with ham
Corned beef and pickle (or english mustard)
Ham and english mustard...

Left over meat from night before ... Sandwiches can get boring but I refuse to pay the sandwich man £2 for a sandwich that might cost him 60p (if that) to make... :)

When I was teenager my mum would make me sandwiches for my first break of the day

she once made ham and pickle and I loved them, which I told her

I then got ham and pickle for about 3 months :/

This week I've been having cheese and lime pickle sandwiches on granary bread, with two satsumas and an apple. Washed down with chilled Japanese green tea.

That the theory anyway .... in practice I've normally eaten it all by 9am and have to buy a roll from a nearby shop come lunchtime :(

I'll usually have cereal or porridge for breakfast at 10ish, then I'll spread my lunch through the rest of the day which consist of something like Ryvita with laughing cow cheese spread and a slice of ham, packet of crisps, a yoghurt, an apple, a banana and a cereal bar.

Im sure there was a thread like this a while ago... oh well...

Usually make a meal the previous night specially. Probably have sandwiches about 2 days out of the week maximum.

Sandwiches. Boring, but only takes me a few minutes in the morning to make them. It saves me a lot of cash as I don't go to the ATM anywhere near as much. Our canteen isn't expensive, but I was getting a tenner out every other day.

Got college 9-6 tomorrow then work 6-10, so ive got:

  • 2 Gammon (Cooked the other night, thick sliced!) and Mustard sandwiches for "lunch" (Will probably all be eaten by like 12! :(
  • Simple tomato pasta cooked the other night, with ham torn up into it because it goes off today, bit of salt and pepper :D
  • Pack of crisps and will probably get a choccy bar at some point during the day :)

Dont normally have that much, just such a long day tomorrow :(

Normal 9-6 day at college would be either 2-3x Sandwiches/Pasta/Chicken/Ham Salad :)

I usually go to a bakery or chip shop. This weather I usually get a cup of soup and a couple of buttered bread rolls, a steak pie and a jam slice, yum!

Every now and again i'll go to KFC and get a zinger meal, or maybe Burger king.

Gah, I'm hungry now :(.
