and yeh chickens are cool shame one died a few weeks ago though. Only got the one now.

well when i went to manchester in 2004 and asked a girl where the hotel were to in those words i had about 15 people staring at me possibly cos of my accent???

It's really bad sound quality and it sounded like you were muttering. So yeah it sounded a little bit northern.

Yea I've had this a couple of times, but to me it's just prounouncing words correctly :confused:

I've been told I'm a mix between Geordie and Boro accents.

Apparantly I have a very scruffy accent and speak very lazily i.e. instead of saying window I say winda. And instead of Firetone I say Fireston. Instead of half it's haff etc.

Some people (especially Americans) can barely make out what I'm saying half the time.

Yup. Exactly the same. Urgh. To be fair, all of my housemates are 'council estate'. So might have a bit of an impact i guess. :rolleyes:

I sound pretty northern but I would like to think that I don't sound common, I know I would to some of you fairies from down south but I do try to pronounce my words correctly but have been known to mumble when tired
