What do you think of my new site design?

I'm setting up my new business just to make a couple of extra quid and I'll be changing my site from www.mia-media.co.uk to www.mia-media.co.uk/miatest so I'm basically getting rid of the table design and going for a cleaner css design, at the moment I've only done one page but I'd like some opinions before I go and do more, also what do you guys think of the header at the top of the page, I think its a bit boring and needs something else on it but I can't think of anything, any ideas guys?

I definately think the new design looks more professional, although it could do with some colour somewhere. Have you thought about moving away from the square look and maybe creating a banner thats not just square? I mean with certain parts of screenshots sticking out etc. Hard to explain, i'll post examples if i find any. Could liven it up anyway.

How about also using the nav background gradient as a footer as well? Stick your copyright info in there, maybe the secondary nav as well?

As a whole its nice and clean, but could do with a touch of colour somewhere (maybe a metally blue would fit?) and yes, a better banner

EDIT: Not the best example, but you kinda see what i mean. Try to think outside of the box - literally

Maybe you could have a few screenshots of your work to use as banners, one on each page?

I think a splash of red on your current banner would be cool.. almost like a Golf GTI front.. thats the imagery im having..

Both need some work, but the first one works a lot more, it's more graphical and eye-catching. I'd work with the first one, and scrap the second one tbh.

Are you talking about my additions or the sites? because frankly the second site is much better IMO.
