Ive been looking for a laptop and this seems to be the best one i can find.

Ill not be using it for games at all, its basically for live mixing and some music production so it will need to be really stable / reliable

How does that sound? Any chance i could get any better for the same sort of price?

The X1400 is OK, but look for an X700 or X1600 if possible...

I got this for £650:

AMD Sempron 3000+
512MB RAM (upgraded to 1.28gb, so add £70)
128MB X700
80GB HDD

Which plays games pretty well... It's wierd, because it seems to be the only laptop that ever existed with a half-decent graphics card but lower other specs. Which is great - a perfect budget gaming laptop :p

So yeah, that laptops fine, but look for better GFX if poss ;)
