What do you use your pc and hard drive space for ?

I just built my new gaming pc, and feel I am not using as much as I could be, I then think why did I spent over 700 quid for, ok I use it for gaming, but I dont game all the time.

I also hear of people using so much hard drive space, and wondering what do most people do on their computers that would use huge amounts of space, ok some being dowloads storage, photos/photoshop and for games.. but I still think that there must be other things that peolple use there computers for.

So what do u do on your pc then ? give me some idea's for what i could get into, I dont know where to start...

Even some resources or forums mainly to learn about something new and have a new thing I could use my pc for.

Most people fill up their discs with media, for instance films and TV series, mostly by illegal methods.

The recent development of HD media should help you fill 'er up!
 
i have over 3TB cross 2 pc's and there about full with over 1000 xvids 20k albums 30+ HD-DVDS, oh yeah my documents take up about 60mb :) and iv still got my homemade nas sitting here just ordered a mini-itx for it so will have another 2.5TB raid storage and im sure ill fill that up within a few months. I do use up a lot of space with psd work as i like to mess around with photoshop that uses up 250gb with about 13% free.
 
jammir your signature is just over the 20KB maximum allowed, redid you one quickly here if it's any good for ya

Where do you cut off signature sizes then, 0.19kb over the limit or 19mb over the limit it makes no diff, the limit is 20kb.

Yeah but being reasonable about limits on a per-person basis isn't difficult. It's clear when someone is taking the micky and when someone's just a tiny bit over the limit. IMO, an extra 190 bytes makes no difference... For example, most speed cameras allow people to go a couple miles an hour over the limit before flashing ;)

Anyway back on topic; My hard drive usually ends up full with every game I own :p My laptop's little 60GB hard drive is starting to feel quite sorry for itself! :D
 
Everything usenet related all work and deletion happens on D:
deleting stuff causes fragmentation you know not good to do that on c:.
 
c:\ windows xp\games\opera\games.... :D
only got 74Gb(Raid0) and i never fill it......I format every 60 days anyway!

laptop on the other hand
c:\windows xp\porn\opera\more porn.........its that full ,i struggle close the lid! lol :D
