What does £200-300 for a tripod get me?

Me and the OP have stated what we want our tripods to be used for. he has a rebel atm but upgrading to a 5d soon. i have a 5d already and a 70-200.

i wont be using no 1000 F1.8 lens!! hell no so 70-200 f2.8 is as heavy as it gets on my setup.

I have this tripod as a replacement for the aluminium version. I usually put my heaviest gear on it, currently 1D MkIV, 500mm f4L sometimes with a 1.4x TC and a Wimberley Mk2.
I have no complaints about stability, it's easy to set up and since I bought a tripod shoulder strap much easier to carry around.
Excellent value for money and performance.
