What does this look like to you? 6800le coruption

Nope never had that. Only ever got 4 dots randomly appearing on screen, before I got the card cooled properly. Check the cooler is free of dust and the fan is working etc :) O/C'd the nuts of my 6800le :D (although my oc'd 5700le has double the performance of stock 5700le and can actually play company of heroes at 1280x1024 ! :D)

There is a thread on 6800's going wrong at the top of this section :)

Ohh no :'(

I guess i can get maybe 50 quid together if i dont have any beer this weekend and go buy pasta to eat for the next week.

Anybody know a decent reliable agp card to replace my 6800le with?

If its hardware why does it only appear after i install the drivers?

As maybe the clocks aren't set right with the standard settings?

Which drivers are you using? I'm not saying it is definately your hardware btw. It might be a dodgy PSU, or try reseating you card :)

i get this with my Kyro 2

I ONLY get this on my NF2 based board and ONLY after installing the motherboard drivers.

- so while 98% of the time it is down to a cooked card, might be worth trying different chipset/graphics card driver combos.

i also got this with my 9800 pro when ever i installed drivers, took several reboots/reinstalls for it to work right...

ahh suger!!

I feared it might be a mobo issue!

Though it if was shouldnty i have got this ages ago.. 2nd graphics card in this mobo now. And the 6800le was fine for over a year with various combos. Using old drivers and new at the moment doesnt make a difference.

Going to try get a new card now in a few mins.. praying that fixes it :)
