Sadly the ending is ruined in Sinister. It was a tense buildup then suddenly fell flat on its face.

Started off a 10/10 for the 1st two thirds of the movie, rapidly descending to a 6/10 for the final third.
Still worth a watch, but so easily could have been a classic, had it not strayed off the path too much !

I watched Cloud Atlas.
I thought that it was really, really good actually. Four different stories, only loosely linked, but tied together nicely by theme and content. All put together and interspersed beautifully.
I was surprised to see that it got mixed reviews from critics... some gave it the praise that I feel it definitely deserved, whereas other critics thought it was terrible. I guess it was something of a marmite film, but for me it was one of the most surprising and enjoyable films I've seen in years.
Give it a go if you want something a little unusual that you can sink your teeth into.

Its so bad its funny,The acting is apalling. The dialogue is cringeworthy.

I wasted about a fiver on it at the cinema. I still recall the crapness now.

Just watched this on Netflix and whilst it was good it didn't seem to know how it wanted to get where it got. Various characters thrown in, in a chaotic manner and they didn't fit very well. Maybe it should have been a longer film with these characters featuring more, I don't know.
