What film did you watch last night?

The Punisher 5/10 (proper Average)

When Marvel couldn't make a Graphic Novel Adaptation without adding 'Cheese'

Some nice Action, Some good Ideas, Just not how I pictured the Story of 'The Punisher' going!...

Hopefully the Re-Boot that's planned (not sure when) will do it better!

GotG, 7/10. Overall was enjoyable, but...:

Some jokes fell a bit flat, nothing really made me "lol" (thought it was gonna be funnier).
Writing started to grate on me a bit, some parts just felt... I don't really know, somewhat forced?
Some parts were rushed, especially towards the ending.
The whole "look how epic the 80's were!" also started to get annoying.

2 airplane films last night.

First was Non-Stop with Liam Neeson. Enjoyed it. Quite tense at times and Neeson puts on a great performance 7/10

Second was Turbulence. On reflection. after the first film, I should have just switched the light off and gone to kip. Abysmal film. Liotta sullied his good name with this one, and so did Brendan Gleeson with that Texan accent. Almost like your typical cheesy B-movie and Lauren Holly acted so badly, I wanted her to crash just to put me out of my misery. And to think they made 2 sequels. Heavens save us! A generous 3/10 and that's just because I found the flying scenes mildly interesting being an FSX fan.

Neither of the terrorist in non stop or Turbulence are a patch on the number one movie plane terrorist of all time, Charles Rane. That geezer scared me just to look at him.

I think if they get rid of wolverine, and don't recast him, it will get boring quick, you will have to put up with Cyclops, I don't mind him having a back seat and let professor x have the lead, other then X I don't think i would want anyone else.

??, Cyclops was wasted by Phoenix in X3.

Watched 'Toy Soldiers', 1991, not seen it for ages, cracking film, suits the era well.

Sarge Emil Foley, Samwise Gamgee and Wesley Crusher stars :)

Blast from the past (7/10)

Good will hunting here for the first time as well.

Fantastic movie and I can't believe i've not seen it before. Going to go on a robin williams binge, what dreams may come is up next i think.

Gotta be a solid 9/10... maybe more...
