What film did you watch last night?

Guardians of the Galaxy - 9.95/10 (I've never given a 10 :D )

Fannymertastic Film!... Just the right amount of Comedy and Action for my liking! Good links to the other Marvel Movies (Thor, The Avengers etc..).

I stayed through the Credits, Made me chuckle, Old School Surprise!!...

and...

I want... No NEED a Dancing Baby Groot!!!

Inbetweeners 2: 7/10 it was ok but not amazing definately had some real flat moments in it

Green Zone: 8/10 good film with solid performance from Matt Damon, interesting to watch it now in light of all the stuff currently going on in Iraq

The Other Women
7/10 - Not a bad film! Quite funny in parts was expecting a bit more of Nicki Minaj <3 would have been nice if she was one of the main characters.

Turned it off after about 30 mins. Just wasn't doing it for me. Guess I need to be in 'the right mood' to watch films like that. :)

The Raid 2.

9/10

I am a huge martial arts fan and the original film was so awesome I couldn't not give the sequel a go. As it transpires, it's even better than the original and totally different in terms of story and concept. The fast paced, breathtaking fight scenes are still there though (and more gruesome than I remember in the original, not complaining).

Quite artistic and great cinematography to boot.

Found out afterwards that there's an English dub, which is supposed to be half decent. I watched it in it's original language but for those who dislike that at least there's an English version.

It's quite long but doesn't outstay it's welcome.

Don't watch the dub, my wife is not a native english speaker so struggles to keep up with subtitles and we watched the dub. It really breaks the immersion as it seems little thought was given to the people actually doing the voiceovers.

Why have americans doing the voices, why not actually have fluent english speaking orientals doing the voiceovers, that would make more sense.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Just seen this today at the cinema in 3D. To be honest, it's a little too kidsy for my liking. It's a decent film with some good visuals but I would have liked a lot more meat. Came away thinking it was too lightweight. If you have kids though, go watch it as I'm sure they'll love it.

Probably seeing this this week due to gf
But I've decided I want what is not going to be. Precisely as what you have wrote is how it comes off

her

What a bizarre film. I nearly got to the stage switching it off after 35 minutes. Then it became interesting. What a strange film that plays on your feelings.

Gorgeous cinematography and a lovely soundtrack.

i loved the movie her, joaquin phoenix was fantastic as the loner. this movie hit me very hard as i related to it all so well. i am lonely like him and i once did fall in love online with someone from tennessee over 2 year period and she was meant to come to the uk to meet me and she said she had a car accident the week before and ended up in a wheelchair.

im pretty sure she was in one all along but didnt have the courage after 2 years to come clean. if she was really in an accident then im horrible for thinking that but when i went back over all the pics in 2 years she was never stood up. i think i was catfished.

this was 2002-2004 long before catfish was about etc.

Channel 4 had a great movie double header on last night.

Iron Man
still a great film to watch, the best in the series so far for me. Robert Downey Jr at his best.

District 9

If you're a Sci fi fan and still haven't seen this then shame on you, one of my favourite films. No cuddly aliens ready for a toy franchise, just a really strong story with a message behind it that tugs at your emotions and some Ok if standard action. One of those films where you wish they'd make the sequel then don't in case the mess it up, looking at you George Lucas

Zoolander as my missus was adamant we watch some comedy and most stuff from recent years (5 years and less) is awful.

It's aged quite well, the jokes even more relevant now than they were back then and the level of cameo's is crazy. The subtlety of mistakes in Stiller & Owen's dialogue is great.

Can't score it, very much a marmite movie, just say I still loved it.
