What film did you watch last night?

Watched Death Sentence last night (Channel 5).
Didn't know anything about it but it turned out to be quite OK. A revenge type movie with a few differences. A good performance from Kevin Bacon.
6/10

The Borderlands...top notch found footage movie based in Devon, few folks investigating claim of a miracle at a little rural church, fairly unique idea in the found footage genre, ending that no one would ever predict...quality movie 7/10

Oculus.
8/10.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I did wonder why they didnt just attempt to incinerate the damn mirror, take off the timer, for kill switch, from the get-go.

Currently watching The Expendables 3. What is this tripe?! Was everything filmed on green screen also, everything looks like it was done with CGI by a 5 year old.

Sin City 2 10/10
Eva Green, completely nude, multiple times, in 3D.

Ok maybe really 7/10 ignoring that, never really gripped me like the first one.

Watched this last night, 6/10 for me, first half was ponderous, livened up in the old building, then the ending was a horrendous cliche sort of thing. Agreed about the green screen. There's one point where it looks like they've green screened Stallone onto a runway and also separately stuck in a plane in the background.

6/10 is being incredibly nice! I was close to just turning it off. The green screen annoyed me that much, we're in 2014, this shouldn't be the case with the budget they would have had!

Million Dollar Arm - 6/10

It was enjoyable and surprisingly funny, but I suppose you ought to expect that from a Disney film. Kept me entertained throughout but it was a bit schmaltzy. Just a solid family film, probably wouldn't watch it again though.

Tokarev - aka Rage with Nicolas Cage.

Firstly 10/10 for most ridiculous hair in a movie.

Movie is a poor rip-off or Taken with awful directing, terrible acting and a crap twist at the end which adds nothing.

Gone are the days of Con Air and The Rock!

2/10 overall for the wig.

8.5/10.
If you liked Die Hard - watch this.
Is that the film set in the house? Wasn't sure how they were aiming it, as a serious thriller or comedy thriller, more humour towards the end. They've got a new one coming out, The Guest I think it's called. Seen two different trailers for it. The first was pure thriller, the new one though seems to be playing it for laughs.

Yes, the one in the house.
In nutshell - a family has a gathering in their parental home. They bring girlfriends along.
House comes under attack and everybody is being killed one by one.
But one of the girlfriends happens to be a Die Hard.

Die Hard was action, with a dab of comedy.
You're next is action, with a dab of horror.
