What film did you watch last night?

Fake baby was so obvious it was rather cringey!
I watched American Sniper yesterday and thought it was awesome. I come online to find all these things about a fake baby. Whaa? Am I the only guy that was looking at Sienna Miller's boobs in that scene? What's wrong with you all?

*Seriously, the thing that grated on me in that scene was that she clearly zips up her top. Then we cut to him, then back to her and her top is unzipped again. Now that was obvious! I honestly didn't notice the baby..

Great film. Not good enough to win much though.

Taken 3 - 3/10 The first film was great, 2nd was ok and this was utter ***** :(

4 Brothers - 8/10 really good enjoyable film, lots of action and there is a quality line up of stars.

Wreck-it Ralph - 7/10

Been wanted to watch this for ages. Shame I took so long, because when I finished the film, my first thought was 'Good film, but it's no Lego Movie'.

21 Jump Street & 22 Jump Street. 8/10

I do like these films and until this evening, first time I've seen them both one after the other, it didn't dawn on me that all the joking at the start of 22 that everything should just be the same as last time, how close the 2 films are in their plot and scenes. Yes I knew the second was an, intentional for comedic purposes, rehash of the first but not to the extent it was. I see on IMDB 23 Jump Street is listed and I hope that's true.

American Sniper - 5/10

Going against the general consensus here, but I thought it was at best an average film. Just didn't get on with it all. Bradley Cooper as the lead just didn't feel right for me, and a few of the scenes were quite simply absurd - particularly the
sandstorm fighting scene

John Wick - 3/10

Awful in almost every respect. Dumb revenge story with lots of gun action. Basically 90 minutes of Keanu Reeves shooting everyone in the head.

Agree 100% it really is shocking! Hollywood really struggle making decent revenge films, they need to watch some South Korean revenge/retribution films to see how it's done properly. The fact it's got a decent rating on IMDB saddens me  Is this what the majority of people want to see ??

Script - awful
Acting - shocking
SFX - over the top / unrealistic
cinematography - dull and uninspiring

awful awful awful
2.5/10 :(

Exaggerate much?

It's a simple, stylised revenge flick with simple characters. It doesn't pretend to be anything more and the choreography/gunplay was pretty decent.

Not everything has to be the last word in depth and realism. You could see exactly what you're getting from the trailer.

Interstellar... WOW... what a disappoint. After all the stellar reviews I was expecting at least a decent film. How wrong I was, boring/flat start, ok mid and silly final act.

4/10

Into the woods. .01/10. 3rd awful film in a row that the other half has picked after before I go to sleep and Woman in Black 2. 2 1/2 hours of the same song repeated time and time and time and time and time again. I seriously wanted to find a sharp edge on the seat in the cinema to end my misery. Absolutely nothing redeeming about this film whatsoever.

Learn your lesson and never let her (or him :p) choose again!

She's already planning on going to see Cinderella, Pan and Tomorrowland (without me I must add), which were the previews for Into the Woods. Tops off a great week really as she had the nerve to complain about Oldboy after I finally managed to get her to watch the original!

"Instructions not Included", came across this end of last year and watched it again. Really great film, some marvellous acting and a great script. Mexican/American film, so has a lot of subtitles throughout. Has a very poignant ending, well worth a watch. 9/10
