    Ex Machina - 5/10

I didn't much care for it at all. Usually well into slower-paced sci-fi stuff, but the story and characters did absolutely nothing for me. It's just all a bit dull and doesn't have anything new to say on the subject of AI or anything else.

re-watched - Wolf of Wall Street.

After 4 days in bed with the flu, thought it was time for a re-watch. OMG just as funny the 2nd time around - magnificant performance from Leo, utterly bonkers film, can only imagine the fun they had making the movie.

Still up there as my all time top 5 movies - 9.5/10. Utterly brilliant and made me feel so much better after having the flu!!!

Ah cool, some new ones there.

This is the list I'm working through, seen many already over the years but some are re-visits/new to me.

I rewatched it over the weekend. I actually thought it was pretty poor. I enjoyed it a lot on the first watch. But it just felt so forced. And Leo's performance didn't seem natural in this role. Loved him in many other movies like Catch Me If You Can.

I watched Striptease (1996) last night. Solid 7/10. Demi Moore. Fappable with the girlfriend.

Just come back from seeing it... And I totally disagree ... The action scenes where amazing but the rest was dull ... I was bored... The acting by hardy was annoying and only Theron shined....

I didn't care or connect with any of the characters ... Apart from Theron who held the mess together...it would have worked better with an unknown as Max .. Hardy is a good actor but in this he was naff...

Plus it made no sense :p
the naff love story between baldy and the red head...the hammy acting of the old women and the daft cgi naffness of the exploding truck ... Should have been cut from the 2d version

    Lilya 4-Ever - 9/10

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0300140/

Sixteen-year-old Lilja and her only friend, the young boy Volodja, live in Estonia, fantasizing about a better life. One day, Lilja falls in love with Andrej, who is going to Sweden, and invites Lilja to come along and start a new life.

The story is loosely based on the true case of Danguolė Rasalaitė,and examines the issue of human trafficking and sexual slavery. Danguolė Rasalaitė (19 May 1983 – 10 January 2000) was a Lithuanian girl who was sold as a sex-slave in Sweden late 1999. On 7 January 2000, she committed suicide by jumping off a bridge in Malmö, she died 3 days later in the hospital

Very gritty and depressing, A very good movie which depicts the truth for some people living in poverty stricken parts of the world.

    A must watch imo.

Don't listen to Easyrider (not sure if many do ;) Sorry Easy :p)

    Mad Max : Fury Road : 9/10

Omg, exactly what Raymond Lin says, just an amazing action movie from start to finish. Completely over the top, completely cheesy in parts and completely brilliant.

I'm a huge Tom Hardy fan but I must say I thought his portrayal of Max was quite weak tbh, but it didn't matter.

    Thoroughly entertaining.

It was very enjoyable indeed, ridiculous, cheesy, over the top and well acted all at the same time....ill definitely watch it again.

    Macfarland USA 4/10

I usually like sport/biographical type films, but this one was just plain boring and uninteresting.

Ex Machina: 7/10. I enjoyed it and the idea of the film though some of it was predictable.

You are agreeing with me about Max?

I'm not saying the action sequences were not outstanding...I'm saying the move was DULL in places and lacked any character connections...

Audience response comes from caring about the characters...
I felt nothing when the bald guy blew up the truck at the end.:p

Plus the Citadel King looked like a Fat Jimmy Saville :p
