What film did you watch last night?

End of Watch - 7/10

Felt very Rambo / John Wayne / Jason Bourne and dragged on a little bit, good movie but not one I'd watch again

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Flying Jade Boobs of Destiny.

Michelle Yeoh still has what it takes, but this awkwardly hamfisted sequel is an insult to the brilliant original.

4/10.

Are you absolutely sure it was End of Watch that you watched?

Got me thinking the same. It is nothing like any of those actor/characters.

One of my top films from the last few years, another solid JG performance. From the moment Public Enemy's Harder Than You think kicks in, i'm drawn right back in each time I watch it.

Love the end scene where they roll it back a bit as well to when they're just chatting, genuine acting chemistry between these guys.

Macbeth : 6.5/10

Overall it was good, though I had heard the dialogue was quiet/mumbling....which it wasn't that bad (certainly not as bad as interstellar) but the heavy scottish accents and original shakespearean language did make it hard to follow for me.

I made it through about 20 mins, then their was this long scene with a lot of dialogue and I just gave up as i found my enjoyment was getting lost in trying to translate what they we're saying.

At one point in my desperation I even tried turning subtitles on but no luck it was the exact same as what they we're saying :p

Got to agree,End of Watch is one of those films I can watch time and time again, JG and MP come across as real friends and comrades and you get a real liking for the two characters.A great film !!.

London has fallen, brilliant. Mindless violence and OTT action, exactly what I was hoping for! Only gripe was that it was quite short. 8/10

Is the CGI as bad as it looks in the trailer?

I know OHF had a lot of CGI but it looked decent and was a solid action movie, the effects in the trailer for this look rubbish.

I agree, I saw the trailer and the CGI looked low budget TV terrible! Was enough to put me off watching it.

Watching mad max fury road, dire, very tempted just Tito switch it off, there's like 1 3min action scene and that's it. Can only assume there must be one more action scene soon for the ending. But good god what a rubbish film.

As a whole it's bad.

But the action sequences are some of the best in cinema history...technically the action sequences are incredible.

But yeah I agree the film is not without its problems as a whole entity.

Now finished, two great action sequences doesn't make a film, and one of them the advert shows you the best part of the sequence. Other than that, utterly dire.
4/10

London Has Fallen (2016) - 2/10

Simple, mindless entertainment with shoddy CGI and very uneven pacing.

A few good action scenes and a few good one liners, but it takes itself far too seriously as it ‘waves the flag’ and works its way through the predictable and preposterous plot.

I disagree, most of the movie is action, Albeit the story isn't fantastic, the action most certainly is. Not going to find may more, with this much action and so well presented too.

After Gods of Egypt another poor film that Butler has decided to cash in on. I have not seen it yet, but I hear all sorts of bad about it.
