What film did you watch last night?

Indeed!
One of the most visceral films I've seen.
Tour de force performance by Keitel.
Yup, he's a real *******. Too often a film promises a character like that but then cops out and turns them into a wise-cracking, loveable rogue type. Plenty of sex and violence, doesn't get too bogged down in plot, very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.

Watched the new Sherlock Holmes film last night, loved it once I got past all the dialogue that I couldn't understand :D

Deserved all the plaudits anyway, great film :)

Pandorum, I really hate horror/thrillers as they generally bore me but they added enough sci-fi and a small enough story (the fact they have a story not just mindless scares) to make it a really good film.

The Time travellers Wife:
Thought it was rather dull to be honest

Blood The Last Vampire:
Much better than I remembered it was although I used to think it was one of the worst films I've ever seen so that wasn't very hard to be better in the 2nd showing!

I need to see that too but I'm waiting for it to come out on HD!

DVD is too poor quality nowadays :p

Soldier

Can't believe it's been 12 years since that was released (OK, well I can as the CGI is not amazing).

Moon

I have been long waiting to see this film as my company done all the vfx for it. I would give it an 8/10 because even though it only has a handful of characters it remained interesting and I didn't find myself losing interest at all.

Man on Fire (2004) - a lot of comparison has been made between this and Taken. Got to admit I preferred Taken but this was a powerful film and definately worth a watch. 4/5

Agreed. Comparisons be damned, both films kicked ass!
