What film did you watch last night?

Watched I Love You Phillip Morris

It's a good film, certainly the first one where Jim Carrey didn't spoil the experience :p
A lot of people are saying its his best performance and I'd agree with that.
Ewan McGregor is excellent too.

It's a funny film, and rather in your face.
Homophobes may want to avoid it though..
 
Body of Lies.

Enjoyed it but nothing special thinking back.

A quite nasty scene with a hammer towards then end
 
Unthinkable

It was very good, too short though (1:30) or is that just a sign of how good it was, a frustrating ending seems typical at the moment. I'm not sure the Matrix woman was that good in it but Samual L Jackson was pretty good
 
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. It's a Terry Gilliam film, which tells you all you need to know. Outstanding performances by Heath Ledger and Jonny Depp.
 
event horizon 6.1 DTS very very loud and on blu ray! looked amazing sounded amazing now my pants are all brown!

Undisputed 3

clever way to mix things up. Take the villian from the second film & give him the lead. Features the best fight scenes of the series. Way better that Adkins' last film 'Ninja' and no little CGI blood.

The Collector - 3/10

Chocolate - 7/10 It's no Ong Bak, but then it's no Ong Bak 2 either :)

Death Proof - 7/10

I completely understand why this film isn't well liked. Of all Tarantino's films I prefer it to Kill Bill but it doesn't come close to Pulp or Inglorious. I love the little references to other QT films.

Planet Terror 4/10

Very much the weaker of the two films. Granted its not to be taken seriously and in some ways its Zombie Horror homage is almost quite clever but that doesn't translate well to the screen. Its just a bit too stupid.
 
Fracture. Anthony Hopkins is Hannibal Lecter again, in all but name. Very good movie let down by some silly mistakes of omission, such as unexplained plot elements.
