What film did you watch last night?

Remember Me

An unexpected goody. Great acting (this should help boost Pattinson for starters) and some perfect directing I think.

Avoid any spolierish reviews, I think this needs to be seen blind first time around.

8/10

Cloverfield – what can one say, a few effects, filmed by Godzilla and missing King Kong. Yesterday’s newspaper was more fun than this and so are home movies.

Cloverfield - Just a bunch of people running around screaming....

Monty Python & The Holy Grail - What can I say? My head is going to be full of quotes for the next week or so now, such a funny film :)

Defendor - Whilst a decent watch, i think more could have been done with it. Woody Harrelson fantastic again though!

Gentlemen Broncos - Wild film, completely and utterly bonkers. they took the crazyness of Napolean Dynamite, amped it up by 1000 then threw away pretty much any semblance of a story and just started throwing wild pieces of crap at ya. Loved it for its insanity, though not exactly a 'great' movie. Any movie with Sam Rockwell is always good, and once again his scenes are immense :D

Mike Basset: England Football Manager

8/10 - Far funnier than I expected it to be. Really good little film.

Robin Hood

5/10 - just didn't do anything for me really. Crowes accent bounces around the british isles and you can't really seem to warm to any of the characters. Only good thing was recognising the beaches because it was filmed near where we live. Funny seeing the Pembrokeshire coast being past off for France :)

True Legend - 9/10

Really getting back into Chinese martial arts movies, watched that and the two Ip Man films...all awesome.

Some really good scenes.

Heartless. One of those weird Philip Ridley movies. Starts very well, but seems to lose the plot somewhere about the middle and can't decide what it wants to be. The ending is contrived and unsatisfying.
